    Question about cutouts

When a cutout is installed do you have to cut a piece out of your pipes under neath your car and weld the cutout to your piping? If thats the case then if you don't like the cutout you can never go back to how it was before because you had to cut your pipes underneath right. I'm just trying to visualize what a cutout looks like. I've never seen one before. What type of cutout should I get if I have 3 inch tubing all the way back. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The cut our I have is at the bend just before the muffler. So witht the cutout closed, the exhaust just goes the stock trip to the muffler, with the cutout open, the exhaust goes straight out the back before the muffler. I dont have pics of it though.

Yes, you cut out about a 9-inch section and wled in the cutout, and you can't really go back unless you cut out the cutout and wled a new sectionof pipe in.
