    Cool question about cutout

    i just ordered me a 3" cutout for my car and wanted to know where it will be goin on my loudmouth. im guessing between the y-pipe and resonator right? anyone please let me know.

    I used two. right off the headers. But, I guess if you are doing one, right off the Y pipe.

    Installed my cutout in the cavity under the rear seat, thought a LM was the same as having a cutout?

    You dont think a cut out adds heavy duty sound to my V8 ? Get under the car and I'll rev it up just a little.

    what are the pros/cons of installing 1 cutout off the y pipe...rathar than 2 cutouts 1 off each header?debating whether i should get 1 or 2.

    Well with two, there's less back presure. You figure, you have two 3" pipes going into one 3" pipe... At least with an after market Y pipe !

    thanx bill,let me ask this..i can either get 1 electric cutout or 2 manual cutouts..which would you choose?by the way my car isnt a dd,not a track car..strickly a sunday driver.

    I went with the manuals, because of clearance... I'd rather have the electrics, but I'd be bummed out when I would bottom out on them... With the two right off the headers, I don't have much ground clearence. I even got hung up in an automatic car wash !!!
