    QTP LT and ORY Opinions

    I really like QTP's ORY with the Flowmaster merge... Dont know much about QTP though. How is the clearence with these? Scraping on lowered car? Any consistent leak problems? (Heard of one persone complaining of a leak at the merge) Tell me what you think!!

    OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! the qtp ory is a p.o.s ....the only nice thing about it is its merge...which is a flow master merge..so buy the merge and get a y pipe custom made.

    It was prolly me that you saw with the leak. I would tell you to buy another brand of lt's because I hate my QTP's because of the leak. I was told buy a MAJOR performance company for fbody's that QTP is now the biggest piece of shit around. I have my Kook's set-up in just waiting for install. I would pay somebody to go throw my QTP's through their window.

    I've had a set of SS QTP 1-3/4" LT's on my car for 4 years now with no problems whatsoever. See sig for details.

    The (minor) problem I have is with the mufflers being so low. Only scraped a couple of times though...
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

    2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

    Yeah you have the good ones. From what I was told is they are now importing these from China (who knows) , and mine are a couple years old and leaking. You can search the ls sites and find people with these headers that are having big problems.

    Yeah it was you complaing about the merge leak... Really the only thing I like about QTP was the ORY... I guess I will just go with Kooks like I was going to before... Just hurts my wallet a little more... Damnit...
