QTP headers are great. They fit well and the polished finish lasts quiet awhile.

Just like INMY01TA posted, the QTP/Flowmaster Y-pipe is big and doesn't fit well. If you chop it up and weld it together it will fit well.

For a cheap inexpensive Y-pipe, you could go with the aluminized Pacesetter. You will need to trim 2.5" off of the front of it and have it re-expanded to be a slip fit over the QTP collectors.

Wish I would have went stainless route, 8 months on Pacesetter and there starting to surface rust. You cannot go wrong with American Racing, QTPs or Kooks in my book. There all great headers and worth the extra $. Pacesetters are also a top notch ceramic coated headers.

yeah its either going to end up me paying for QTP's and setting me back a little or buying ceramic pacesetters.

If you can swing it, go ahead and bite the bullet and buy the stainless QTPs or Kooks. You will regret it later, if you buy the ceramic coated ones (due to rust) not fitment, or performance. I usually polish off the rust on mine every few months or so, to keep them looking good.

I have been wondering if theres any super high temp clear coat, that would with withstand header temps. Mine usually just rust at the collectors mostly.

    QTP's

The QTP's have a really nice collector design and tuck up nicely. We have them on sale as well. They also have a really nice finish on them
