Passenger side header will go right in but do the driver side first!!!!!!!!
Driver side: Put strap around the back side of the tranny and pull it over to the passenger side.
You may have an issue with the (D) header going in. Grinding the tab off of the block will make it much easier to get the header in. I had to lower the back of the tranny to slide the header half way in. Then I jack the back of the tranny up to get the header in the rest of the way.
I will get pics up to show you what you need to do.

you did not have to put in solid motor mounts in your car did you cause i heard other people had to, to keep the y pipe from torqueing and hitting the floor board. btw have you ever driven past grand view hospital or the perkasie exit on 309?

No, I didn't have to put in solid motor mounts. Any engine will twist from torque, so I don't think it is necessary to install solid motor mounts. I made my own y-pipe and do not have any problems with it hitting. If you want, you could bring it by my shop and I can install a bump stop so the y-pipe will not hit. I could meet up with you and give you advice on installing the headers.
I drive past there alot. I work in Hatfield, and live in Tinicum. LMK

ok i'm not going to spend the money on the motor mounts since i dont have any left from buying everything else already. i will just have to customize the y pipe i bought and hope for the best, and i heard about a exhuast clamp someone sells to keep from hitting the floorboard. so your the one that i heard coming off of 309? i love the way your car sounds and i wanted to find you and ask u what kinda headers you have on your car cause they sound awsome
