putting ls2 into 4th gen camaro

    putting ls2 into 4th gen camaro

    will the oil pan from the ls2 out of a vette, clear the subframe in an 4th gen camaro?

    No idea.
    Most use the factory LS1 pan as far as I know.


    Hopefully you got that LS2 for CHEAP!!! Otherwise it costs WAY too much for that extra 30RWHP over the LS1.

    my motor is good but has 94k vs the ls2 with 7k and only paid 1k for the motor.

    `98 Formula M6 HdTp

    You can use the oilpan off your LS1 and also the all front accessories.
    Also may want to use the LS6 intake off your LS1 since it's better then the LS2 intake.

    thanks for the heads up on the intake...allows me to keep my 60ilb injectors with out spacer mod.

    Yeah the LS2 intake flows similar to the old LS1 intake until the top end where the 90mm TB helps it.

    Also do you know what reluctor wheel is in the LS2 24X of 58X ?
    Lingenfelter sells a conversion box that converts the 58X signal to work with a 24X PCM.
