problems with ceramic coated LT's??? something else??

i have a problem with my car right now, and i was told at the performance shop that it could possibly be because of my ceramic coating on my PaceSetter LT's. right now the car is dumping something like 20% more fuel into the drivers side cylinders. he told me to remove the ceramic coating from any areas where the bolts touch. (i guess it creates some current disturbence?) though the ceramic coating shouldnt carry electrical currents.

now, it could also be an electrical problem or an engine problem as well, and maybe the injectors. but the car just recently put down 330 RWHP on the dyno, so i think the engine is fine. i have NGK TR-55IX spark plugs and MSD super conductor wires which im replacing with NGK TR-55 plugs and my stock wires. then if that doesnt work we'll swap the injectors to see if the problem moves to different cylinders.

if all fails then the last resort would be to put the O2 sensors into an open loop. however, theres a 10% my cats could go bad.

has anyone had similar problems like this? i need input. thanks.

I'm guessing that you used the included wires in the kit to extend the O2 wires. If so you may want to either check the connections or buy wire extension adapters from Pacesetter because the voltage your 02's produce is very specific so any unwanted addition resistance could be throwing off the readings for it. I think you can pick them up for around 40 bucks through pacesetter. I couldn't see the ceramic coating affecting it.
If all else fails you may be able to adjust it through a custom shop tune.

i went to get a custom tune and thats where they realized my problem. i bought 24" O2 extensions from TSP along with my headers and exhaust system, Pacesetter's are 18". maybe ill try new ones

ok....this is my setup and i am(as of yesterday)happy as hell with it....well..before i got headers..i gutted out the cat...which was bad...i was running rich..and ..eventually raised money for longtubes..got em..replaced the front o2s...and got sims for the rear...the ses light came off already...aweful gas smell left..and im happy now.....well now i think i have a problem with my maf...but thats besides the point... try using sims for the rear if that helps
