Very nice write up. Did you tried cutting the clamp around the return line fitting? The tubing is flared at the end. Or it is too long and gets on the way? I guess from the pump return to the cooler is just straight rubber hose?

where i cut the line made for a more straight shot to the cooler than the upward bend in the line if i was to just cut it at the compression fitting......and i also bypassed that flow robbing crimp in the line

Elite Engineering's E2 catch can. It is a fairly small unit and you unthread the bottom part of the can to empty and clean it. I just printed the installation instructions off their website and it seems pretty straightforward.

The boys at the local GM dealership are telling me that the non-P/S cooler upper hose has been discontinued. Anyone have a part number?

now im kinda thinking about installing it in that location. we have alot of ditches here in Orlando and I always hear the front bumper scraping or the air dam scrapping. I'll see what i can come up with.

its nothing wrong with that. I jus order this one because is the same that sjsingle used. I kinda like it. I just put it in the front instead of the back of the dam like he did.

I think this cooler is as big as my tranny one i cut it and put it side by side.
