I am looking at an ls6 manifold w/out egr provisions to put on my 99 TA. From what I have found in my searching is that I have an MTI B1 cam. Does anyone see any potential problems with taking off the egr setup on my car with that cam. I know that I will have to get the car tuned afterwards, but I have heard that on some yrs that it was a nightmare after removing the egr with the stock cam, but not so bad with an aftermarket cam. I am also going to be installing lt's and ory to help that cam breath, b/c the previous owner thought it wise to install this cam, but not do anything else to help the cam perform to it potential. Also, the intake I am looking at comes with the LS1 style TB, fuel rails, and injectors. This is a setup ready to drop in. What are the differences between LS1 and LS6 injectors?
Also if anyone can help me confirm the cam "is" a B1, the number on the cam are:
and if the specs for that cam are: 221/221 w/ .558/.558 w/ 114 LSA
Or should I just go with a Fast 92/92. Thought I didn't really want to spend that much.
