2000 Grand Prix GTP- 2000 Trans Am WS6 M6
Porting FAST90
Should I pay Tony Mamo the $600 to port my FAST90?
People have claimed around 25rwhp on H/C motors with his port jobs. Intake is already off of the car so it can be powdercoated, so that is not a factor.
Help me decide.2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 M6: 427ci LS3, Built T56, Moser 9" w/ 4.11 Gearing, Full Suspension, and 6-point Cage.
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP: Twincharged w/ a T67 Turbocharger
2007 Chevrolet 3500 Dually Duramax: 3" Downpipe, Dual 4" Exhaust, EFILive Tuning

I would read up on the topic as much as you can. Mamo anything costs are crazy. There is some information out there with do-it-yourself FAST porting. You might port it yourself, gain half, but save 600 dollars towards something else.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Saw no dyno gains with my Mamo port job.
Granted, went from the stock aluminum DS to a built steel one at the same time.

06 PBM GTO(458WHP)SOLD!!- 06 TR GTO~476WHP 425TRQ
I wouldnt. I made my numbers with an unported 90/90 setup. I think your setup is perfectly balanced as it sits.

trans am 00 ws6- 1998 camaro ss vert
i contacted tony about 2-3 months ago an he said he wasn't doing used ones anymore. he was only doing new ones. if you get a hold of him and get it done. let me know.
side note: why not sell yours for 600-700 then just add 400-500 and get a new ported 92mm. instead of spending 600 to port a used 90mm?

Have you talked to Wilson's directly?? That's who makes the FAST intakes.
Been a while since I've dealt with Tony. About 4 years ago to be exact when I bought some AFR heads. Thought at the time he was strictly affiliated with AFR but I could be wrong. Might want to give Wilson's a jingle.
Anyway, last year I had an Edelbrock Victor intake ported by Wilson's. Did absolutely fabulous work.

No way I'd pay that much. I've seen some pretty detailed threads on porting it yourself. I have one, unported. Costs enough.
