I just did mine this past weekend and used a heavy stone to get the lip out of the TB. Then just used finer and finer things till it was smooth then polished it with a small wheel. I was on a budget for time it came out good and with the bump stop I noticed a little better throttle response. Besides if you start and get lazy youd be sending it in for a core anyway.

mark at s2 fills the big gap in them and tuns them in a lathe. he also cuts the stop so you get a full 100% from the blade.

dremel and a few bits or some big metal files should be all you need. hacksaw if you decide to half-shaft it.

basically just a lot of patience. take the blade/shaft/sensors out so you just have the body. you'll be able to feel a lip around the entire inside edge, as you grind just keep feeling for when it's most of the way gone. you don't wanna go too too far but you can take a lot off. then make sure you clean it out very well so you don't suck any metal shavings into your engine. definitely worth the time, you'll notice a difference.

do you use any metal filler for the two air hole ports? or do you just leave those as is and bring anything else down?
