    Thanks guys for all the help. I've decided to pass on the MAF and just save for other mods.Already have a K&N so I guess my next mod will be a clear LID and then a FAST 92/92 setup. I didnt know about all the trouble that comes with messing with our/LS1 MAF.
    Also I have an almost complete 99 z28 minus motor and trans that I would like to trade towards performance/appearence mods. Plus or minus cash, just pm me if you have anything that you think I might want.

    Get headers before you get a fast 92, or get a cam, heads.

    c5z28, the reason that I was going to go ahead and get the FAST 92/92 setup is because Im going to try and find a ls6 or a ls1 with lower miles to replace my ls1 with 150,000 miles. I figure that I can go ahead and get the 92/92 and put it on my ls1 with high miles, then when I do find a ls6 or a newer ls1 I can just swap the 92/92 on to the newer motor. Let me know what you think!Thanks

    Well then go for it-as long as you know you have the money for the new motor and plan to go big that sounds like a plan.

    Most tuners prefer to tune with the stock MAF in place. I would go with that.
    Glad to see you chose against getting the MAF.
