whoa buddy, who said i wanted lots of power from only plugs and wires. if fact you can quote me on the first post "i know i wont get very much from them". I wasnted a nice little compliment to the headers ans since I was already going to be down there...might as well change the other stuff too. If youre going to act like that get the hell off this site. Plugs for 1000 HP? where can i get some? shut up and go away

i know the Granatelli (sp?) wires are one of the if not THE best wires, but they are pretty expensive, if they were cheaper that would be great

yeah, i did, granatelli was #1 and MSD was #2 i beleive, but the price gap makes the MSD's more desireable

Usually it's from a small header leak. We have a couple small tricks we do to the header gaskets before installation that DRASTICALLY help. Not to mention on the race cars we get to re use them most of the time.

Get some ULTRA COOPER silicon and put a bead around the ports on both sides. Do one side and let it set up before you do the other. NOT all thick and shit....... Just take your finger and smear a nice thin bead area around the port. By doing one side at a time you won't make a mess.
Anyways let the silicon set up totally on the head side first. Then on the header side let it set up for 20 min. prior to install. If your back east in the cold double that time.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

No problem we figured that one out a few years ago at the track fixing a burnt header gasket between rounds and it ended up lasting until the motor was pulled for a freshen up at the end of the season.
