    Please critique these headers

What do guys think of these headers for an LS2? They are 1 3/4".

    Thanks for any input!

tell ya right now theyre not long enough. if it's all you can fit then they look legit, but if you can fit full length then that's what ya need. stainless = the way to go.

Thanks guys. They are custom made for an LSx conversion, so no brand name. They are 1 3/4" with 3" collectors. I'm just struggling with using these or having custom long tubes built (which will reduce ground clearance).

what do you do with the car? long tubes would definately be the way to go if you can fit them. never seen the engine compartment/trans tunnel of a 944 with an LS setup stuffed in it, but if there's room, theres a way.

Long tubes are the way to go, but we did an ls1 swap in a Datsun and ended up using shorties and a mild cam with a tight LSA and made 395 rwhp with ls6 intake and stock tb with stock 241 heads which I thought was pretty good for a shorty header, but we did fabricate a custom free flowing exhaust as well which of course did not have cats.

400 wheel with some shortys is certainly impressive w/ untouched ls1 heads. almost too impressive. . . .but i believe it. we ARE talkin ls1's here. dynojet no doubt. . . .
