Pcv valve
How do you remove pcv valve on 98 transam. it looks like its part of the pass side valve cover. the repair manual says just to pull on it but i don't know if thats a good idea. theres no picture and the replacement i bought doesn't look the same.thanks for your input

Yes you can pull it apart. Just be careful in that the hard plastic likes to crack on the back side around where it y's at. Even if it does break there are a couple of easy fixes that cost far less then replacing that piece.

Not sure if they still make it, but I love the catch can I purchased from Elite Engineering. It is small, works well, and doesn't look like a hardware store hanging off the side of the engine.
