Painted / Coated Headers
So I was just talking to a local shop, and he said that the coated pacesetter headers start to peel the coating off after about 9 months.
I was wondering if anyone else had had this experience or not?
His suggestion is to go with a set of $850 stainless headers instead of 350 ceramic coated ones.

well, if that's a concern you could always go with the obx headers off ebay and get stainless for a whole lot less money. I can't recall reading many people bitching about pacesetters coating peeling off. I've had mine in there for 2-3 years and my coating is still fine but I don't daily drive the car.
