    Pacesetter vs. Pacesetter QuikTrip

Is the only difference between the two that normal Pacesetters headers are street legal and the QuikTrip are meant for offroad or racing? I don't believe I have visual emission tests in my state (NE) so not sure it would matter either way. Also, does anyone know if I go with quiktrips, do the match up with a catted y as well as ory or do they only match with an ory?

Get the non emissions set. I would delete the air pump and go catless if I were you. since you will need a tune anyway they can tune out the air pump, the engine bay looks much better plus the install is easier without the air lines. I have heard bad things about the pacesetter y pipes when it comes to sound.

Ok, I might check out TSP then. I plan on getting a frost tune after all of this. Will I have to remove the air pump from the engine bay if I go with the ones with no EGR? Or will frost just tune all of it out? Also, will this remove O2 sensors or will those still be used?

you will need the front o2 sensors. And its not hard to remove the air pump assembly. Also an 01 doesn't have EGR so you will be good there.

Ok. Any catless y with offroad headers will have hookups for the front 02 sensors correct?

The holes for your front o2 sensors will be in the headers themselves. The off road y will have no holes due to not utilizing the rear o2's. I would have replied sooner but had to do to work, sorry.

No problem. That's what I thought, because I replaced my rear O2 in the past.

You will need o2 harness extensions for them to reach unless you buy the o2's for the vette with the longer harness built in them.

I had the tsp oryp and it fit like a glove but still has the rasp, thats will depend on what type muffler you run.
