    2002 trans am ws6

    pacesetter with tsp catted pipe.

    Does anyone has this setup if so how did you put the tunnel brace back on. Did you go aftermarket. Thanks for the input.

    yes I have it.


    No you can't, even with UMI's tunnel brace. It would hang so low that you wouldn't be able to drive your car.


    I had to tweak, bend, cut , and weld up to get mine to sit ok (notice I didn't say right). It still hangs a little low but not as bad as before.


    Unless you have a vert the tunnel brace is not critical (especially when you have 2 or 3 point SFC's).

    Thanks Scott for the replied. I was hopping I could do something with the stock one. I am guessing it would be easier to just get the sfc and make the car a bit more sturdy.

    I have been driving the car with out it. I just didn't know if I should drive it like that.

    Been It's been off for the last 2 yrs for me and no issues. Verts need it more then hard/t-tops do.
