    Pacesetter LTs not street legal??

I was on PacesetterExhaust.com and noticed that all the LTs they had were not marked street legal? Why arent they? Can I get inspected with them and how?

All LTs are not street legal.
But it shouldnt matter if you live in a state with no emissions.

Oklahoma FTW, not even routine state inspections anymore, thanks to feeding the pockets of the legislature and cutting costs elsewhere

Yepp, and any "modification" to the stock cats is also a nogo.

I passed in Maryland with my LTs, but they made me weld in a cat to pass. I then took it out after the inspection.

PS: Maryland only does inspections when you first bring the car to the state.

If they do make a comeback, I'll either have something rigged up where I can attach temporarily, or go to a buddy's shop and get it inspected. No big deal for us small town folk

LT headers make any car illegal only because... your are not to move the cats from their "stock" location. LTs move them. Some inspectors dont care. You can replace or upgrade cats legally... its just a matter of location. NJ is a very bad state to have them. but if your not thowing a CE light... a private inspector should clear you.

In other words can you remove the cats and put in o2 sensors? and then tune the car to delete those codes?
