You have a flashing SES light???

    It is EGR related.
You need to get the EGR/AIR capped off. ASAP.

they only bent them like half an inch downwards so i didnt lose any clearance
What did you use for the rubber piece, and where did you get it?

get a bit of welding mat & tie it with safety wire or geared hose clamps.

I have the same problem with the exhaust hitting the floorboard and the SES light. My SES light came on a couple of times when I took it out for the first run after the header install. It was cutting out and the SES light was flashing. Got a code for multiple/random missfire. It quit after a day of driving, but it started doing it again when it got rained on. Thing ran like crap for a little while. It also was cutting out while accellerating in low RPMs. I changed the wires out with MSD's with wire sleeves. It's alot better now, but not fully cured.

I had an off-idle stumble. It was symptomatic to bad plug wires so I replaced them. It got better but still barely remained. While looking around I noticed the small-black vacuum line to the passenger side of the throttle body had a very small leak, like a rub. Replaced that and stumble cleared.

Ok think I fixed the cutting out problem. I think it had a little to do with back pressure (or lack there of). I was running pacesetter LT's, ORY, and a SLP loud mouth 1 cat back. I changed the LM 1 for the LM 2 and the problem is gone. Not to mention it's quieter now too, lol.
