    Pacesetter Fitment Questions

I was looking to get some Pacesetter LT's w/catted Y, and was wondering

Will they hit or bang on anything, and does it make a difference that i have a convertible?

    Also:

after the install is complete, will the car be driveable without a tune, because there isnt a place nearby that can tune it. How much power will i be missing out on without a tune, and will it hurt the car to run without a tune.

    Finally,

Will the car be much louder with LT's i do have an aftermarket muffler

Yes, it will run a bit rich with the stock tune. Shouldn't hurt though. And there will be some power left on the table without a tune, how much, I can't say though.

I'm in the exact situation, i'm looking to get the exact same setup. I hope we'd get 20rwhp for over $800.

    Some have said they've gotten a dyno-proven 30rwhp with a tune.

You can get a mail-order tune from pcm4less.com or somewhere like that. Its not too expensive either. But with no tune, I'd say that you could probably get 15 out of the LT's and no tune.
