Ok guys i have some ideas i want to run by you. First off I am 17, and paying for my mods and gas and insurance. So im looking at the best current route. used headers and y and do some cutouts with the stock catback a catback, and save for headers later on.

    3. buy a ls6 intake and ported TB

or any other ideas. I am sorta leaning towards the headers/cutout/stock catback.

what do you guys think? this is for a 1998 camaro SS m6.

    I already have Lid/shifter/LCA's/SFC's

I like the headers y and cutouts, catback will sound good all the time, but won't be as big of a gain as when you open the cutouts with headers

You'll get the biggest improvment out of used headers & Y-pipe with cutouts. The headers will make you car a little louder than manifolds, especially depending on whether or not you'll run cats.
