Question OK I want to put a ram air charger on my 98 Bird

Ok first off, I am not a motor person and LOVE my 98 Fire Bird and she preforms great. But I do want to see her fly alil faster. So I heard I could put a super charger or even ram air on my Bird and put the TA hood on her to allow this. Is this true and does anyone have a way for me to find what the prices are and what I need to do. Or would it be better to have someone else do it. I am just trying to see what I am going to have to spend and how long it will take. Thanks for the help.

I think he just has a plain old V6 Bird...

Do NOT put the WS6 hood on that car or the Phoenix gods will strike you down

    Ok, you're new.... welcome.

If you want to be faster, just buy a v8. It'll be cheaper in the long run.

Supercharger- $5000. 80 hp? It'll almost make you as fast as a stock v8 (trans am).

Ram air hood- $1000 plus paint. 10hp. It's more of a cold air intake, doesn't do much.

Trans Am hood- identical to the firebird hood. You're probably talking about the Trans Am WS6 hood (see above).
2002 Trans Am 6sp, SLP lid, Holley filter, Shaner S3 TB, Jet Hot long tubes and cats, FRA, HP tuners, Hotchkis STB and LCAs. TEA stage 1.5 5.3 heads, Comp 220/224 114 +2, UMI Boxed SFCs, Edelbrock PHR. Moser 9" 4.11 gears.
