    Oil pan

Can the oil pan on a 99 T/A be completely removed with out having to dismantle the engine. I am going to do a red line oil change and i would like to get all the sludge out of the bottom of the pan. Didn't look like i had to take apart a whole bunch of things but i figured someone out there has already done it.

Also if you install a oil cooler kit can the stock pump keep up with it. I know taht the more hose you ahve the less pressure you will have at the end not sure how much of a differnace that will make on the short runs of tubing that a cooler will have but i know taht the longer the transfer lines the less pressure you will have comming out of the end. Forgot what the name of this effect is called but its there none the less.

I don't believe it can be completely removed with out raising the motor a little. What makes you think there's sludge in it?

Don't try to remove the oil pan in the car b/c you won't get it back in without dropping the cradel. It is a major pain. The sea foam is good stuff and you can get it at any autoparts store. It works great.

Unless you drive a sludge monster, there shouldn't be any reason to drop the pan, unless you know that the car had a fuel or coolant leak.
