OBX stainless header setup on ebay?
Has anyone ever installed and used this setup? Seems like a killer deal for a set of stainless headers, cats, and ORY... maybe its just me. Or maybe its just too good to be true.
Search "OBX Headers 00-02 Camaro Firebird" on ebay for the item I'm referring to. I chose not to post the URL since I figured it would get deleted anyways...
Thanks for any feedback.

Crazy good price. Searched after I posted and found positive feedback from people running them. Spose I should have searched first.

Midnight Blue- 2000 Camaro Z28
yeah the people using them seem to like them. i ended up getting the XS stainless headers when they were on sale instead though. the price was the same or less than the OBX, and the welds looked better, flow looked better, and the y pipe looked less restrictive too. don't really think you could go wrong either way though.

Definately worth it! If you go to the last page on the thread that 98formy posted, I wrote up a list of things you will need and problems that may occur.
I am using those headers and SLP loudmouth II. And those arent cats, they are resonators.

I've had them on my car for a few months with NO PROBLEMS at all so far. I even have my car lowered and have not scraped them ever.
1 thing I would recommend is to have an exhaust shop flare the pipes so they're a slip fit rather than butt fit. Also the setup does NOT come with doughnut gaskets and it was much harder to find than I thought it would be.
Also after install my steering coupler bolt would hit one of the pipes when I tried to turn at the same time as accelerating. I ended up replacing my motormounts as well as denting the 1 pipe that was hitting and now there's sufficient clearance.
Those are NOT cats. They are resonators. This setup with GMMG catback sounds MEAN AS HELL. Only drone is at about 2k rpm's and goes away at about 2200 rpm's. Not too raspy either.

I bought a set and they are no good. Primaries measure 1.5" I.D., collector was dented on one of the two headers, the collector was completely full of booger welds inside as well as the pipes in the collector being rough and jagged... the merge on the ORY was also quite ugly inside.
I have pics posted HERE.
Buy these headers at your own risk. They definitely should not be used for any H/C/I or forced induction engines.

That sucks you had a bad experience. Though I admit mine were not perfect when I got them, but they worked out great! I guess that just goes to show you anything with eBay...bid at your own risk! If you want something perfect, you will have spend the extra money and get it from a reputible source.

They worked out great for me no problems whatsoever, well other then it hitting the floor board. Other then that nothing is wrong with mine.
