    O2 extensions

Im buying lt pacesetter headers and off road y-pipe and was wondering if it is needed to buy the o2 extensions for the extra $40 or is wiring it manually fine? Im buying it off of texas-speed.com and they said something about it giving bad o2 readings if i extend them manually...i was just wondering if thats true or if they are just trying to get the extra $$...thanks

I would personally just go ahead and get the extensions. Its a heck of alot easier to just plug them in and go. Many things can go wrong if you cut and extend them, and if happen go get a couple of wires crossed or a bad connection on one then you have a fun time trying to chase down which wire it is.

The premade ones will save you the trouble of splicing and any future issues due to corrosion.

I tried splicing Didnt work at all. Threw codes and the car ran like shit. A week later got the premade extensions and all my problems went away.
Spend the extra cash and save yourself a headache..
