Silver- 2000 SS
Not sure what to do?
I have a 2000 SS that is all factory and I put the FTPK kit in it. Now I want to put a NICE exhaust on it and I am not sure what to go with. I am pickled between - Stock manifolds with stock cats, SLP Y pipe and a magnaflow cat-back OR SLP long tubes W/cats and SLP Y pipe and a magnaflow cat-back.
Not sure but I do want to keep it CLEAN and drivable.
`
Please help.

Definitely get the LT's with the magnaflow. LT's make a big difference and coupled with the magnaflow sound AMAZING

ive only heard bad things about slp lts.. i guess there terrible for ground clearance. theres tons of header threads on here to check out and find what best fits your budget/sound/performance and all that good stuff

Sell the car before you disgrace it and yourself by installing SLP LTs on it.
Any other header choice>SLP

I think you need to think and do alot more research. You don't even know weather you want long tubes or not.

if you only want sound just get the catback, if you want it louder get headers. I guess all roads point to getting headers

First get LT's for sure.......
The new SLP header design is not a tuned length header and clears better than the old design. I still would get something else though.. Pacesetter on a budget, LPP for budget stainless and ARH/Kooks if you want top of the line...
I had a pair of Hooker SS for a while and they were nice and about $550....
