Nitrous Tapped TB spacer...Throttle cable trouble
I bought a 3/4" Throttle body plate off of ebay. It's made by SlotCar, heres a link to one for sale http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SALE-...QQcmdZViewItem mdZViewItem I got the plate today and all it came with was, the plate, a gasket, and the screws. I tried to install but because the TB is pushed out my throttle cable is pulled and im idling at 2000 rpm's I can either return it, or keep it. I love the plate its really well made however unless anyone knows where i can buy a bracket for a 3/4 inch plate or how i can adjust or fab. a bracket to fit im screwed. I've heard that you can adjust the cable to tighten or add length to your throttle, is this true?

just take out the two bolts that hold the bracket for the throttle cable, move the bracket forward and bolt the back hole in the bracket to the front hole on the intake

I was thinking about this, and the TB spacer is only 3/4" thick. Moving that bracket will push it foreward like 1.5 maybe 2 inches...

drill new holes in the bracket to make the move exactly the same distance that the spacer moved the TB

you might not be able to get two new holes in there, the bracket might not go back far enough. Don't think that will be a big deal though, good luck
