    NH Emissions Testing

Alrighty, I have a 2001 SS with LT, Hiflow cats, magnaflow cat back, and front and rear 02 sensors are hooked up. When the guy that owned the car before tried for inspection it didn't pass the emissions portion...now I own it and it's my turn.

The results of his inspections was the following...I am not 100% sure the the rear 02's were hooked up at the time.

    OBD : Rejected
    MIL Status: Rejected:not ready
    KOEO: Pass
    Misfire: Ready
    Fuel System: Ready
    Comp component: Ready
    Catalyst: not ready
    Airsystem: not ready
    heated 02: not ready
    heated cat: unsupported
    air condition: unsupported
    EGR: unsupported
    EVAP System: not ready
    02 sensor: not ready

The SES light is 'on' currently. The car did pass before all the exhaust work was done.

If I get a scanner and clear the codes will the car pass? NH just looks for error codes as far as I know.

    Thanks much,

    Scott

He may have reset the codes just before inspection, evidenced by so many readiness monitors not ready... You need a tune (mail order will work) to fix the settings so you will pass whether your emissions stuff is functioning fully or not. Tune worked great on my car with LTs and hiflow cats to pass NC OBD inspection.

Thanks much...I've been looking for someone around here that can do a dyno tune and hopefully tune those out so it will pass.

I may get one from Frost but it's getting nice out and I don't want to have the car off the road.

    Thanks again,

    Scott

I have my rear o2's tuned out and have no problem passing Texas obd2 emmisions test. I just have to go to places that don't do an undercarrige inspection and notice the ory.

Well I mailed my PCM out to Frost yesterday so that's how I'm getting this issue solved. Plus more performance to boot.

So if you get the rear O2's deleted does it just tell the computer that they are ok, Or does it delete it completly? Here in utah you can only have 1 flag in the computer read not ready to get emissions to pass

Actually I have no idea...I just told Frost what I had for options and that I am subject to OBDII testing and currently I will not pass. Maybe someone will be able to answer that for you.
