New Product! 98-02 LSX Solid Aluminum Motor Mounts from UMI
Solid Aluminum Motor Mounts for the 98-02 Camaro/Firebird LSX Engines
Part #: 2323
Price: $129.99 (Introductory Price of $99.99 per set)
UMI’s light weight solid motor mounts for the 98-02 4th generation F-Body bolt into existing holes in the engine block eliminating the factory rubber motor mounts. Solid motor mounts are designed to work with the factory K-member, UMI K-member and many other aftermarket K-members that use a factory style pedestal mount. These solid motor mounts are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, nicely sanded and finished with a hard anodize to prevent corrosion. These aluminum motor mounts weigh half the weight as the factory motor mounts saving 3lbs of total weight. Motor mounts are simply bolted in to place using existing hardware, no modifications required

Red- 2001 Camaro SS
Any idea on noise or vibrations? I've debated solid mounts but those were always questions I had.

Thanks everyone.
These are solid mounts so there will be a firmer ride and possible vibrations so this definitely needs considered before running these.
I will have some more pictures in a week or so. I will also have a better product picture, the picture above is plain aluminum with out the clear finish and the first set off the machine. The others have less marks in them.
Thanks!
Ryan

Damn nice looking mounts. Cannot recall who, but I know at least one member on here is running solid mounts on the street and says it is not bad at all.

I will think that with solid mounts you will get more vibration since there is no rubber to absorb vibrations... I'm fixing to do prothane mounts and im wondering about vibrations too. Oh well they are alot cheaper than stock ones...

Solid mounts always elicit drama from internet racers that have never used them. They were one of the best mods made to my turbo T/A. There was the tiniest bit of vibration added (only at one RPM spot and poly mounts do the same) but the difference in feel is incredible.

2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
how hard is it to install these, or any mounts for that matter?
Is this a jack and some wrenches job, or more like pulling a motor
