This is a discussion on New plugs within the External Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; I use iridiums in everything never any probs. IMHO Most folks whom run ngk's prolly more than anything else use ...

    I use iridiums in everything never any probs. IMHO Most folks whom run ngk's prolly more than anything else use them cuz they are cheap .

    ^^^^^na delco iridiums run too hot. my started detonating as soon as he started to advance the timing a lil bit. they specialize in ls1s and are highly rated by us texas members. its called rpm

    ok thanks I think I will spring for the iridiums as they are suppose to last longer. These thing look like a bear to change.

    ok I need a plug expert to tell me what the best plugs out ther are... I dont care how much they coast... they are going to be in my motor for a long time so could someone please help with this??? I am about to do my headers and im going to do the the plugs also... I also plan on doing alot of mods to the car and I dont want the cheep stuff... Thanks

    my delco iridiums are fine for me and my bolt on car. ive been with them since 90k its at 120k now with no issues. not every applicatiom is the same though. what works for you may or may not work for me and vice versa.

    So there is no one awesome plug out there that everyone loves and has had great results from? I think this is one of the things that I should spend good money on because it can have such a big effect on power.

    From 26k to present 80k ish same set of iridiums. Saturday I'll be putting on a custom exhaust and a new set of iridiums back in it..

    The NGK TR55's are VERY good for our cars.

    yeah see i heard good shit about delco iridiums but when my tuner was advancing my timing it started detonating like crazy. hmmm maybe i try tr55's

    I stand corrected...lol, but I run the crap out of my car and burn no oil. Could it the type of oil used?
