    New and need help with approximate HP

    New to the forum scene.........I have an 02 z28 and I am wondering what my approximate HP is be....I have slp lid with K&N, SLP cai, smooth bellows, hooker LT and Y pipe, SLP loudmouth..........any help is appreciated........

    First off...stop buying SLP parts. You are spending too much money for average (at best) parts.

    If the car is an M6...I would guess 335RWHP.
    If it is an A4...I would guess 320-325RWHP.

    yeah, I bought the SLP stuff right out of the gate when I bought the Z new in 2002.......it is a M6........thanks for your help............any ideas on head and cam packages...........

    I did the same thing. Regret it to this day still.


    Heads and cam packages...
    Tough to just give recommendations.
    Goal of the car? Street? Drag? Gears? Streetability important?

    I think the best cam for a well overall performing car is a TR224 (thunder) or 228R (TSP).

    street for sure...........hoping to get into the 450 HP area without losing the driveability

    450 HP or 450 rwhp? Both easily attainable but do you have any supporting mods for putting down more power yet? SFC, clutch, and o man hows your 10 bolt.

    that debate is endless but mine broke at about 335 RWHP with sticky tires. But here is a good write up on it.

    Seen stock cars break them on the street.
    Seen 10 second cars running on the 10 bolt as well.
    Hit or miss. I just replaced mine before it blew up.
