    new air intake

I was thinking about getting rid of the lid and routing my own intake. doing some custom piping and putting two cone filters where the fog lights are. I am pretty sure i will need to get rid of the maf and get a speed density tune, but i just want to know if it is practical and possible to do without outrageous modification. If anyone have some pics or can lead me in the right direction this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

on my GTO I'm running SD (MAFless) I ran my own tubing from the tb through a hole I cut where the factory airbox was down behind my left driving light.
Home depot white thin wall 4" PVC pipe and elbows, fitted, painted, and then put a cone filter on the end of it.
    works great and looks great

Yes. IMO one of the things that make these cars badass looking is when you can drive around with the amber DRLs and the fog lights on. Why would you want to ruin that look? There are many setups that work great, and the don't destroy to car's attitude.
