    Needing advice.....

Any help would be appreciated..on my 02z28 I was wonder if my factory cats would be efficient for a cam, L6 heads, intake....and probably f1 procharger. I was gonna put them in my ory...smart or bad move....not sure...like I said advice would be more appreciated....

I personally would leave the cats off.....at a bare minimum I would get new high flow cats.

Factory cats restrict alot regardless, and 10 yr old factory cats restrict even more lol. As said above i would go with a ory for best results and sound if you can get away with it. If not some high flow cats will do the job..

    OP,

I agree with Orion, TN (unless it changed in the last 8 yrs) has no state inspection, so going with an LT's/ORY and delete the CATS will give you a good bump in HP, the cutout that is mention, will give you better flow, but not necessary a big jump in HP. Mostly just fun to have

with a ORY you can put the cutout anywhere prior to the muffler. Common spot is a single cutout placed near the rear passenger seat prior to the exhaust tube bend up to go over the axle.
