need a new maf
i was looking at the slp ones but every one has been saying to get the stock one.. my car is a 98 does any one know the price of the stock one?? or part #??

I'd say get a Z06 MAF from GM, descreen and port it...

Porting and/or descreening MAFs is generally not a good idea. Get a factory replacement and leave it alone. The factory one is good for 500 HP.
