need info on replacing cat
Hello,
My passenger side cat is gone and I need to change it out. I have searched and read a lot of info on this.
At this point I just want to cut the old cat out and put a replacement in.
Does anyone know the pipe size?
One place I read that the inlet is 2-1/4" and outlet is 2-1/2".
Is this true?
Or is it 2.5" in/out?
What would be the best replacement cat. I will do headers and a whole system, but not right now.
Car is daily driver, can I cut the old one out and put a new one in with band clamps?
Magnaflow or spun ones on evilbay?
Help.
ETA...Car is 1999 formula, warranty is out as I have 182,000 miles.
Thanks in advance
