Headgaskets? Not sure how they come into play on an exhaust instail. Oem exhaust gaskets will work fine, just dont use paper garbage. Is it a catted Y pipe or ory?
Flanged or do you need clamps?
If ory did you pick up some wire extensions?
The instail is pretty straight forward, just remove old manifolds and Air tubes and y pipe, and instail new parts.
Take your time and pick up a 10mm rachet wrench, i think it was 10mm, made some of the bolts a bit easier to remove.

10mm gear wrench is correct and remove the coil packs. It gives you more room to maneuver. Pull the starter as well.

I thought you had long tubes, I didn't realize it was mids, my mistake. You probably won't have to remove the starter, but when doing the plugs, it really helps me to have the coil packs out of the way.

Yep.. and the 10mm gear wrench is a LIFE saver!!! YOu're gonna wanna take out the oil dipstick too.. get it out of the way.. one bolt and pull... otherwise like said.. pretty straight forward. And several of the guys here myself included just reused our stock metal gaskets with no probs.

10mm socket and a swivel + extension is another alternative.

I put my longtubes in, it took me and my brother about 2 hours and we didnt remove anything but the exhaust. Removing the starter and coil packs just makes it a bit easier and yes you do have to remove the oil dipstick. Its a Pita getting back in lol.

But with a second person helping to guide it, it helps.
