    Need Advice with Headers

I am going with some stainless steel headers and ofr y pipe from LLP, which from what I have gathered around here are the SSautochromes. Anyway, I want to go ahead and delete the Air and EGR systems from my 98 z28 A4. I am going through these amazing posts in the sticky and I am not sure if I gathered all the information I need to do this myself.

    1. Headers and ofr y pipe
    2. Exhaust manifold gaskets and bolts
    3. Band clamps
    4. EGR block plates

Now, I was wondering what do I do with the o2 sensors after I delete the EGR and Air systems.

you keep the front o2's delete the rear, your going to need o2 extensions for your lt headers. then get a tune. all done

This is becoming more and more disconcerning as I go on. I'm starting to wonder if it is even worth it.

I believe so, i gained forty two horses on my old LS1 with no cats, no egr or air fittings... great hp to cost ratio.... I went with QTP'S though...

If you can get 42hp putting headers on with now cats and no egr stuff, what will a good estimate be with high flow cats and all of the extra legal BS be? Would 30hp be a good estimate?

i would think 20 or so, but i guess it all depends. i never aim to high because usually hp gains are never as high as you think they will be. when some one tells me this doodad will give you 20 i aim for 10.

here's what i did, i didnt delet my egr because that seemed a little more difficult, i got an ORY and deleted my cats, and I had to get 24 in extensions for the front 02's and simulators for the rear 02's , that was that, picked up some power and a lot of noise, definitely worth it

    Sorry I hijacked this thread.

What type of 02's Should I get both front types and back please.
I just can't find them, and it's probably because I don't know what to look for.
