    MSD Blaster Coils

Do these coils offer any benefits? Are they worth $600?

Depends on what you have done to the motor.....the ones on the car now will do the job for about 500hp.......but you will notice a difference past that.....I run them.....like them a lot.....it's just one of those things of what do you plan on doing with the motor and how much you want to spend on it.....

No and no. Alright, they MAY smooth your idle...maybe, but they have not shown any HP gain in independent testing. Worth $600? No way. The stock coils are fine for over 600rwhp...ask me how I know.

It's not a MAY...it's a they will......it's not so much a HP gain than a crisp throttle response.......trust me...I know....I had the stock coils on and hooked up a TECH-II to the car and monitored the coils then put the MSD's on and there was a HUGE difference.........it just depends on what you want.....and how much you want to spend........

I like MSD products and have given them plenty of my money over the years, but IMO the MSD LSx coils are a bust. When you say "huge difference", what are you talking about? How were you able to objectively quantify it? I'm not busting your balls and I'm glad you are happy with your purchase, but for my $600, I'd spend it on something else that added HP.
