Missing Problem in My Lt1...

ok well i detailed my engine last week, i covered the opti with a towel and stuffed one on top of it, and sprayed the engine down with light mist of water and then simple green and rinsed off. Well i dried the engine as much as possible with a leaf blower really good. Well whenever i cranked it , it was idling quit hight for about 5 mins and then went back down to normal. and now whenever i first start it up and take off it misses out at about 2500 to 4500 rpm's and the higher it gets with the rpm the more it clears up, but whenver i shift to 2nd and 3rd it does the same thing. But whenever the car warms up it doesnt miss out anymore ???? does anyone know what this could be?

mine was doing something similar recently, but it was a loose sparkplug, exhaust gas also filled the plug boot up with carbon. might want to check if some of the rinsed off gunk got onto a plug.

my old 93 done the same thing. it'll clear up just keep driving it.
