    MAP sensor location

    On the LS1 engine where exactly is the MAP sensor located?

    Plugged in directly behind the intake....

    Just a heads up -- be careful when you go messing around back there, especially if it is on an F-body. The oil pressure sender is also back there on the driver side and can be easily broken.

    Yep! Jeff is right. You do have to be careful back in that area. A couple of my buddy's have broken the sending unit right off. The MAP is located on the intake, on the back left portion of the intake. And the oil sending unit is mounted on the valley cover, in the back center, behind the intake.
