Map Sensor on Fast LSX IM

Anyone else notice the stock Map sensor fits, but rather shitty in a Fast LSX IM?
Or is it just me having this problem....

Everything is put together, noticed the stock Map sensor sits sort of at an angle, exposing the thread just a little.
I don't think it's enough to cause a check engine light, but it looks like there could be a slight leak or future leak problem there...

If anyone else had this problem or noticed this, did you do anything to help hold the Map sensor in place or cover the hole to ensure no air leakage?

    Just curious, thanks.

I used a LOT of black RTV sealant. No problems in two seasons with it.

I am not positive my mechanic will have any of that stuff to seal it, but I am sure he should have something comprable around (it's a dealership).

If not, I will have to find a local retailer for it & buy some myself.
Thank you for the post & glad to hear I am not alone....

I think they did it so you can run their FAST ECU. Which I believe comes with a upgraded MAP sensor.

Hmmm never seen that before, I don't mind trying something like this at all
but need to make sure they are sturdy/efficient enough to not get sucked in.
Thanks for the heads up, I will check it out for sure!
