making true duals
I was looking into getting headers and getting true duals done. I was wondering if this set up from JEGS would work with are cars?

I assume it's not car specific, the main problem is going to be the driver side before the x-pipe, the clearance is lower so you or a shop will have to bend it to make it clear.

That setup is only the x-pipe and a few feet of pipe. you would still need mufflers and pipes for over the axle, unless you are dumping before the axle.

Go to a few shops and get quotes for duals buying a universal x-pipe may be more of a PITA than them just creating their own.

Instead of bullshitting around with that extra pre bent pipe, just get the merge itself http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BIG-53621FLT/ from what i've researched this is a good design, only 40$ too... Flowtech makes a 2.5" version aswell

Yeah im with that the shops 99% of the time have so much extra piping that they can make you your own pipes for cheap... Call before hand and tell them what it will be with the x- pipe or how much to the tax included if they make one because i dont know what it is when you bring in your own parts they know you are cheap and give you a better price i know i am when it comes to expensive welding

Does anyone no where you can get true duals over the axle done in NJ or PA area for a decent amount of money? What are the fitment issues with 3" piping all the way back?

Just my opinion but I would avoid both the summit and jegs x as they dont flow very well. If you look at the way they cut half of each bend out and then weld it together you basically have 2 pipes of say 2.5" dia. coming together into a single 2.5-2.75" dia. section and then splitting back apart. I could build you a much better x for the same price at my shop and then mail it to you. I could even make it any width or angle you want to help with install. I know when I do this setup on the f-bodies I do the inlet pipes at a wider angle than the outlets.
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, if it wasn't for fords our tools would rust
