Magnaflow or Hooker to replace Borla?

I am looking on replacing my Borla Cat back. I am interested in the Magnaflow cat back or the Hooker Catback. Which do you all suggest for best all around performance? I currently have Dynatech Headers,Dynatech Power Cats, Borla Cat back. I just cant handle the Borla Noise anymore lol.

    It has a big wing!

The Magnaflow system is going to be a VERY well made system and performs very well in my exprience with thier products.

With that said it is also one of the QUIETEST systems arounds also...with maybe only the SLP DD being quieter.

I can't speak for the Hooker system but, have heard good things.

I like quiet and tame for normal driving.

Magnaflow is very nice sounding when WOT as well. Smooth.
    Both are great sounding catbacks.

That is a shame to sell the Borla, very nice expensive system and sounds good usually. You could probably sell it used and get the funds for a Magnaflow new ($350). Good luck with your decision

Is that an adjustable Borla? If so, why not install a more restrictive plate, or install an electric butterfly plate in it's place? Then, you've got a cutout with the flick of the switch, and a quite exhasust with another switch flick.

at the back of the car before it goes into the muffler the passenger side tail pipe has a flange like a header does, you can block that off with a plate and send all exhaust through the muffler, or I have heard of people adjusting the noise with some kind of restrictor or something.

I have seen used borla systems on ebay still get 300-400 bucks if you go to sell it so dont give it away to a muffler shop or anything.
