when i put my radiator in, i plugged that outlet at the bottom with a hose and a cut off bolt. as far as the coolant level sensor, when i installed the old one into the new radiator, it leaked. had to spend $60 on a new one...problem solved.

    Hey sjsingle1,

I just bought a new radiator and it also has that lower outlet that my OEM did not have. Did you really need to have the hose and the Petcock or could a direct fit Petcock work? This is the one I'm currently looking at, but I want to make sure it will actually work. Dorman W0133-1799985 Radiator Petcock | Auto Parts Warehouse

you can see the 1/2 heater hose I used to help plug the lower left hand outlet on the rad......the hose and a brass petcock on the end of it did the trick

you dont really NEED a hose and petcock there.......it was just a way of filling that hole there.....and i have never used it for draining since i have installed it........i forget the size of petcock but just make sure it fits the hose
