    Smile LT1 intake upgrade???

    I have a 95 Z28 and I want to upgrade my intake manifold to a better flowing newer year one.Will an LS1 work or another factory one and How much will I gain in HP and is it a bolt on?or do I have to relocate some stuff?Need input..Thanks guys....

    Howdy. No, an LS1 intake will not fit. Highly recommend posting this question in either "General Help" or "External Engine" in the Tech section.

    you could get the LT4 intake, but you'll have to use LT4 heads as well. could get into a carb intake conversion that is set up for EFI as well.
    Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge

    Not really too many choices for the LT1 as far as intake manifolds go. You can have the runners ported on the stocker, go the LT4 route as mentioned (but you will need the LT4 heads as well, not worth it IMO), or Edlebrock just came out with their new 'air gap' LT1 and LT4 intake manifolds. Haven't heard any numbers on them, but they are suppose to have longer runners and so forth. I say, just get the stock one ported with a bigger throttle body. Not much else you can do in that department.
