    Is LT1 intake LS1 compatible?

I saw an add for a used k&n intake off of a '94 Z28 for a hundred bucks. Seems like a good deal, BUT.....

Question 1- Will it be compatible for my 99 Z?

Question 2- Will it be compatible after a ram air upgrade? (from install university)

Wow, thank you. I was literally hours away from doing that air mod ( it looked so easy and beneficial). I think you successfully talked me out of it. BTW, is that slp lid fairly easy to install? Any how-to diagrams or forums on how to do it? Seems pretty inexpensive
(100.00) for the gain. Thanks again....

Pop out your old stock lid along with the silencer that is being held by fasteners, install the SLP lid or any aftermarket lid.

not as many threads as jray thinks. i actually havent seen one here in well over a year. it usually happens with the sealed ducting systems not just the free ram air mod. free mods help quite a bit with throttle response.
