LT Myth or not?

This is a discussion on LT Myth or not? within the External Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; You could go with a Ram adjustable just to have the adjustability, but the hydraulics itself isn't really any different ...

    You could go with a Ram adjustable just to have the adjustability, but the hydraulics itself isn't really any different than the GM unit.
    The Tick is more expensive because not only is it adjustable, but the hydraulics are completely different for better clutch action.

    To me, yes,,,,having the adjustability was very much a necessity for me. In stock form the clutch grabbing right off the floor was much too close for me, had to take your time shifting, couldn't get aggressive at all. My wife wouldn't even drive it. I need a little more free play off the floor to be comfortable.

    Sorry im late to the party but I feel this is true. I wouldnt say the car feels slower,but maybe a little bit less snappy from a dig. But it makes up for it and them some later in the rpms. Your better off with lts.

    Yeah I got mine installed. Car pulls alot harder.

    TOTAL MYTH!!! A free flowing exhaust makes more power EVERYWHERE! Backpressure only inhibits TQ.& HP. Somebody explain to me how it makes more power........??
