    LT or Mids Question.

Car is in sig. 97Z28 A4. Im in Az and am supposed to keep my dual cat setup but heard I will get better results with the LT's. If I do go to the LT's, how do I get away from the front O2's that go in right before the cats that I have now? I was thinking of LT's and ORY with a single 3" cat. Not concerned with the smog jerks cause I can put the old ones on when needed. Thanks for any help.

A dual cat set up on the y pipe is less restrictive then a single cat after the y pipe. You will see little more gains with LTs depending on other mods. Magazines have tested the two against each other and the midlengths were not far behind in power at all. The front O2 sensors will always be there, you can't get rid of them. The rear O2 sensors (after cats) can be replaced with O2 simulators to trick the PCM into thinking the cats are working fine (if you have them still)
