    Smile Lt headers best quality

to all those kooks and american racing proponents out there

i am an advocate for dynatech stainless steele long tubes.

I have a 2002 ws6 with the dynatechs flowing through a gmmg chambered system.top of the line all the way fitment ,weld quality and all t-304 stainless high gauge steele.

Not cheap ,but the best quality usually isn't.

The sound is incredible -the way these cars should sound.

Gmmg used dynatechs on many of its stage 2 and 3 cars - nuff said

I'll stick with my QTP long tubes and ORY. Got a nice shine, gave me good power, nice fit, and big savings in the money dept. so I could buy several other things at the same time not just the headers.

No exhaust as in no headers or anything really isn't possible. It can result in bent valves. Unless you like that kind of thing happening...

I didn't say it was good for the car nor would I recommend it.... lol

Open headers isn't that great for a car either... 02 sensors will go quickly.

dude its a dyno proven fact that stock cast iron manifolds flow better than dynatech stainless steel long tubes.

yea i put my dynatech's on to tame my car. was too much for me. i tossed the SS band clamps that came with the kit and bought one steely U-bolt from advanced. i just re-used it on each joint, torqued it so hard i dont need any clamps anymore!
2000 red ss: >2" drop, koni adjustables 'n 275 s-compounds all way around, giant brakes, dynatech LT's, borla catback (no plate), t56, tubular everything, HARD TOP, caged, "stock" heads 'n a mean cam. -2* front camber.

    bad reading nonetheless. . . .

whether or not they will go BAD . . . . .could go bad from excessive exposure to elements.

they are reading the same air as if they had a tube after them..... and are in a tube under the car.... not much for elements under there

I disagree with this thought process

they get bad readings from contamination of outside air. o2 sensors are too close to the outlet of headers. i'm sure eventually one of the guys on here that are "infamous guru" tuners will chime in on that one.

as far as the o2 sensors goin bad, "elements" = water, dirt, etc. which all exist through condensation, dust, etc. car doesn't have to be runnning for 02 sensors to be destroyed. not sayin you cant run open header and be straight, i was just giving reasons. the undercarriage of your car is not impervious to "elements" just 'cuz it's under car. . . .
